A year ago I fell off my truck and fractured my right femur in multiple places below the hip. I had a titanium rod and two screws put into my hip and two in the knee. A year later, I am in a lot of pain in mostly my hip and a bit in my knee. I have been told by the surgeon that they want to remove the hardware - will this help with my pain or take it away? I have also been told I have osteoporosis in my hip as a result of my injury and will need a hip replacement as well. I am a 28-year-old truck driver who now struggles with everyday tasks. Will I ever get my life back and be able to work again?
