    What could be wrong with my knee?

    Hi without proper assessment and examination you can only make assumptions. Without knowing your history it is silly to try and diagnose, however I can give some advice. 

    Given that you couldnt bear weight means it definitely needs to be addressed ASAP. Sudden pain while twisting could mean that its a meniscal type or joint/ bony injury etc. 

    I would follow the RICE (rest, ice, compression and elevation) protocol until you seek further management. 

    I would book in to see a physio/ osteo or similar as they can help you get you back to previous level of function and control pain.
