My soon to be 7 year old has had for 3 months a light tan coloured, 13mm wide hyperpigmentation patch/lesion on his upper chest. It is circular, evenly pigmented and hasn’t grown or changed since it appeared suddenly. It’s flat and skin is soft and normal. Our GP is unsure of the cause as no trauma was known to the site. Awaiting a dermatology appointment but wondered if any advice could be given in the interim.
