    Blood and clots in stool

    Related Topics
My husband is a 43-year-old smoker. Four days ago he said he has a lot of blood in his stools. He was going to the toilet about 6 times in that day, also with large clots, loose to diarrhoea. This only lasted for one day. The day before he said he was constipated. He also complained of low abdominal pain. This wasn't the first time, previous was months ago but only a very little amount of blood. Both times he said there was no pain in the anal area (didn't feel like haemorrhoid). He won't go to doctors, as he said he's fine now just a little tired. I'm worried, he's not or pretending not to be. Any answer is appreciated.
