Large weight loss, severe vomiting - should my friend see a dietitian?

My friend has recently gone through a large weight loss (I think as a result of changing professions - retail store to bakery) and has contracted severe vomiting and just a general unwellness. This has been going on for several months. She has seen doctors who don't know what is wrong. She has had blood tests checking thyroid, her blood levels for diabetes and helibacter pylori. Everything has come back fine. Could it possibly be dietary related and should she see a nutritionist or dietitian?
