    Blank vision after standing up quickly?

    Such visual symptoms may be associated with “orthostatic intolerance”. It is an abnormal response to standing or sitting upright, resulting in decreased blood pressure, inadequate blood flow to the brain, and speeding up or “racing” of the heart. 

    Treatment may include drinking plenty of water and an oral beta-blocker to slow down the heart.
