How can I manage Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome?

My 20 yr.old daughter has been diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and suffers with P.O.T.S. Her life is a constant round of doctors and tests. She also suffers with chronic pain in arms and legs (they give off heat) and serious allergies. Any ideas would be most welcome.

I have had success with propranolol in a couple of young patients with this.

It is quite effective in treating POTS but be careful. It can

    1. Exacerbate asthma

    2. Result in bad dreams

If she has multiple allergies then a trial in hospital May be the safest.

    Good luck.
