    Should I get my child checked for Lyme disease?

    My 15 year old son just went on a weekend camping trip with his friends. I had to remove a tick from his arm earlier this morning. Although I do not see any weird symptoms, is it best if he goes to the doctor to get checked for Lyme disease?

    Thankfully not all ticks will pass on Lyme Disease. However if your son displays any sign of illness or bullseye rash I strongly advise you to seek help from a Lyme literate Doctor as soon as possible.
