My son (11.5 years old) has swollen turbinates and snores a few times during the night. A skin prick test showed him allergic to dust mites (3x3), but an IGE test showed low 1.94 KUA/L.
Based on the skin prick test one allergy specialist recommended immunotherapy, whereas another did not recommend it based on the IGE test and a 3x3 result on skin prick test.
I was wondering what should be the course of action to resolve his swollen turbinates and occasional snoring in the night?
