    Endometrial hyperplasia treatment

    I am 47 years old and experience heavy bleeding. I am diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia without atypia. My gynaecologist has prescribed me both chlormadinon 2mg fem and tranexamic acid, but with no improvement. My current endometrium is 24mm. I have to do D&C this Thursday and they recommend to insert levonorgestrel IUD at the same time. This will be my second D&C. I'm doubtful if levonorgestrel IUD will work as the hormone pill has failed.

    Is hysterectomy the only solution if this second D&C doesn't work out?
