Getting regular massage for back issues

    Related Topic
I've had various back issues over the years. I have had a few sessions with a chiropractor and it definitely helped. My posture became a bit wonky due to sitting long hours in the office and then I developed Anterior Pelvic Tilt. Now that's getting better, but I always feel that a massage really helps calm things down.
Is this a good thing to continue on the side (now that I've stopped going to the chiro)? My wife kind of had the same issue but she also feels better and physically rejuvenated after a massage. I'm pretty convinced that it's physically the right thing to do, but I guess it's more of knowing - from a professional - why the simple massage helps people with back issues like pelvic tilt etc.
