I have had 2 triple steel pelvic osteotomies when I was 14 or 15 (3 years ago) due to hip dysplasia that wasn’t diagnosed as a kid. I have been in more pain since then.
I have seen a different surgeon and had surgery taking the screws out and getting rid of excess bone.
I now need more surgery but I'm in heaps of pain and I can't even walk a step or stand or lay in bed without being in pain. Everything I do causes pain. The pain is still constantly there and the painkillers don't help.
How can I minimise the pain and speed up recovery when I get my surgery?
I have a CT scan to undergo so my GP can see what has caused the pain but it is getting worse. Painkillers aren't helping and I can't sleep at night with the pain. I take prescribed sleeping tablets …
