I have been diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma 16mm x 12mm. It is pressing on the cerebellum. My surgeon has advised me to wait and watch and get another MRI in 4 months. The tumour has affected my hearing over the last 2 weeks so I have only partial hearing in that ear. I am concerned that it is growing which is why its only started to affect my hearing recently and to wait 4 months just risks it growing a lot larger and then requiring even more invasive surgery. If all treatment options were available to me, what would be the best way forward?
