My baby has had lots of congestion since she was 2 months old. She has a wheezing sound in her chest sometimes. Some nights she coughs heaps making it difficult for her to sleep. Every time she has a bottle the mucus seems to get worse. Sometimes she doesn't really want to have her bottle because she is so uncomfortable. We have been using a vaporiser, saline nose spray and steamy showers to help a bit, but they are not always perfect solutions. Is there anything I can use to help break up the mucus? She has had this so long, I'm worried she is going to develop something worse or asthma because of it. She is 5 months old now, so this has been going on for 3 months straight.
Thanks!
I diagnosed as Meniere's disease in overseas by specialist and soon after that I came back to Australia. Is it important to see a specialist or I can just have GP to get medicines?
