Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners
What can be done about my watery eye?
20 years ago, I had a severe bout of conjunctivitis in my right eye. It caused drying. To alleviate this, an opthalmologist inserted a plug into a tear duct. This has worked well. A couple of weeks a go, I started to get watering in that eye and had my eyes examined. There was no infection. Could it be that my eye has just repaired itself and therefore the plug is no longer required?
