  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

Why do I still have bad cramps at 52?

Last year the doctors said my pre-cervical fibroid was the only thing that needed to be removed and I did not need a hysterectomy, but I was in so much pain and having breakthrough bleeding. Now its 1 year later and I'm in pain again so when will the doctors do a hysterectomy ! Im 52 and not having any more children and in so much pain. Also I am a retired Nurse and I know this is not right, is this because I am now on a pension that they refused to do it last year when I requested it? Last year they removed the fibroids from the cervix but not my uterus, will someone please tell me why do I have to still go through pain?
