    I keep getting a painful lump I think is a abscess on op scar it does not get mucky etc just spreads to about 3 inches this goes on for a week then goes only on my right side I have a history of health issues nothing major mainly hormonal, 3 ceserian 20 + years ago ab hernia repair twice 10 + years ago.

    Another possible explanation for thickening in an operation scar is scar hypertrophy or keloid.  If you are concerned see the surgeoun who did the operation for review.
