My son is 11 and was diagnosed with Crohn's at 8. In this time the longest he has gone without diarrhoea is 6 weeks.
He has been on azthroprine, mesalazine, infliximap infusions and humira but seems to become resistant to them. He has had diarrhoea for 3 months now with no let up, usually only once or twice a day but the pains are intense.
Is there any thing else we can try?
He is also on a diet of gluten free, no milk, no tomatoes, corn or high fructose fruits. He takes liquid iron and liquid herb supplements but are still not going into remission.
