    The pharmaceutical name for Vimpat is Lacosamide, which seems to be a good add-on therapy for seizure control. If you search for VIMPAT on the internet, you can find plenty of information about this medication including how it works and the possible side effects. Often, the chemist will include a pamphet with the medication that contains information on side effects. If you have any concerns about the medication, you can also call the company who produced Vimpat and ask to speak to the medical officer or you can call the NPS Medicine Wise hotline on 1300 633 424.
