GP in Perth specialising in ASD?

My son was recently diagnosed with High functioning autism by a specialist centre (psych, speech therapist)and I was told I had Aspergers by the same centre. I have been seeing the psychologist there for counselling (I dont wish to have formal diagnosis as I can cope with life)and she has strongly recommended I see a psychiatrist for the frequent ‘melt downs’ and ‘rages’. I went to my GP today to get a referral and she refused. I also found it extremely difficult to get a mental health plan for both my son and I from another doctor at the same practice (I regularly see the both of them and have been for several years) I also needed a referral for my son to see the paediatrician (final step in his diagnosis) and though she eventually gave it to me she really didnt want to despite what I had told her the psych & speech therapist had said. I really get the feeling either of these doctors has a good understanding of ASD.

Can you recommend a GP in Perth that does have an interest in ASD?
