    Thanks

“Back pain” is an enormously wide description. The osteopath will start by taking a thorough medical history and doing some careful diagnosis. The treatment will depend completely on what is happening in the individual's body, and what the causes of the pain are likely to be.

How can Osteopath's treat back pain? Awesomely!

As John says an individual's back pain is very specific to that person.

An Osteo will ask questions about who you are and what you do to determine any predisposing/causative factors.

They'll then watch you move, do any orthopedic tests required, diagnose your problem and then set about making you feel better.

The making you feel better part is generally pretty easy as an Osteo is an expert at using their hands to alleviate musculoskeletal maladies.

A nice rule of thumb when seeing a practitioner of any type is that within 3 sessions you should see signs of change, if you don't they should send you for a second opinion.

    Sincerely

    Bill Adamson
