    What is the difference between a tension and cluster headache?

    I tend to get headaches that are concentrated at the front of my head which is brought on my stress. Is this a cluster headache or a tension headache or something else?

    Cluster headaches are characterised by sudden onset and last for 30 to 90 minutes in ‘sets’ of 3 or 4. The pain from these headaches is excruciating with pain throughout the head.
     
    The onset of tension headaches is usually more gradual and the pain, while around the head in a “hat band” manner, is duller.
