My 11-year-old son has developed a fear of choking. He choked a number of years ago and recently after watching a movie where someone died it has triggered a fear of eating. At times when he tries to eat something that isn’t blended he sweats profusely and cries with fear. Urgent services for children is lacking and so we are booked in with a psychologist who can see him quickly but may not necessarily be the most qualified to deal with his issues.
Can anyone recommend someone with experience in this area?
