    Residual inflammation or infection?

I'm 33-year-old male who was diagnosed digitally only with acute prostatitis and was prescribed Cipro for 28 days. I still don't feel comfortable after urination as before the acute infection. I struggled to finish the Cipro course with all side effects that it had. Before being diagnosed, my urine test was clear and this is the case now, I have clear urine but still some itchiness and it feels like a drop of urine is left in the base of the penis I just feel like I wish to get it out. The urologist said over the phone that it is a residual inflammation and it needs a few month to disappear and as my urine is clear, that is ok. I'm worried I may have a different infection that Cipro alone didn't clear off. How do I clear that? Secondly, does Cipro cause permanent DNA damage to sperm or does it reduce fertility temporarily? Thank you
