    Ovarian cysts

Hi, I am 45 and have had ovarian cysts for most of the past year. I have had mild pain and discomfort. At my last visit to my gynaecologist, I explained that 3 days previous I experienced severe pain and felt that it had burst and the Dr agreed however now about 4 weeks later I am having trouble with my bowels and still experiencing some pain from the ovary. Most of my abdomen around my hips and just slightly to my back feels like it is badly bruised and I am wondering can this be a part of the cyst rupture or have I got some sort of infection? I also have a bulging L2 disc and am on regular Tramadol. However, the stomach pain only started when the cyst rupture happened and has been getting increasingly worse. Thank you for reading Regards Caroline
