Ali treats people from all walks of life and a variety of complaints. His interests lie in treating and rehabilitating sports injuries, treating headaches and managing pain including arthritis. Treatments are individualised and patient-specific which aim to get you back in action as soon as possible. Ali will then discuss with you ways to help manage your injury and minimise the risk of re-injury.
Dr. Abdo is the practice principle of Avesenna Osteopathy. He graduated from Victoria University with a Masters degree as well as completing a degree in Human Movement and a post graduate diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation. He worked as a fitness instructor/personal trainer and alongside local and premier league soccer clubs as a sports trainer and a remedial massage therapist while studying osteopathy. His personal experience with osteopathy as a patient coupled with his passion for general health and wellbeing was the reason he became an osteopath.
Ali remains physically active and continues to be involved in his chosen sport – freestyle wrestling. He has been involved in wrestling for well over 20 years.
