How to lose weight on lexapro?

I started lexapro last July (I think) and I heard stories of weight gain. I have gained around 10 kg, but I have been eating unhealthy, so I can't figure out which one it actually is, but I want to lose weight. I'm very unhappy with my weight. Could you please give me some tips? Thankyou!

    Thanks

    This is very common.

These kind of medications can increase your cravings for carbohydrate foods, especially processed carbohydrate foods often in the evening, if this is when you take your medication. Also some of the feelings you have, may not be helping you choose the better food choices.

My advice is before you gain more weight get your GP to refer you to a Dietitian to give you strategies to help you.
