  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

What should I do for persistent hearing loss in 1 ear even after being prescribed ear drops?

I am A 57 yr old female, who noticed bit of a blocked ear last weekend, then woke up on Monday and couldnt hear out of my right ear. I saw a GP on Wednesday (said I had swimmers ear), got eardrops, have used for 48 hours, no change, feel like I've got pressure in my head. I'm seeing a GP on Monday. Is there anything else I should be doing? I feel very unwell
