  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

Does anyone have weight loss tips for me? I have hip dysplasia and scoliosis.

I'm a 55 year old woman trying to lose weight. I'm walking with a walking stick and in a lot of pain. My left hip is bone on bone. I am swimming and I have a total gym that I use daily. I'm eating no more than 100 grams of lean grilled meat per day, lots of salad, low fat milk and also use proactive ultra. I try not to have more than 3 slices of bread per day. I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle and I'm eating like a bird and I feel like I'm on a constant diet. A couple of hours after exercise I'm exhausted. I also see a dietician and exercise physiologist. Has anyone got any ideas?
