How can I prevent scarring on my daughter's face?

My four year old daughter had a fall and grazed her face on pavers outside our house about 2 months ago, and apart from the grazes sustained no other injuries. A GP and nurse dressed the wounds and determined it was superficial grazing with no need for stitching and scarring would be unlikely. The wound healed remarkably fast, however the new pink skin that has formed has been pink for some time and does not seem to be reducing.

I have been applying a combination of bio oil and paw paw ointment but it does not seem to be making any difference. I am also applying sunscreen each morning.
Because it is on her face, I’m very concerned about scarring. I was wondering whether it was worth taking her to a skin specialist to see if they can offer anything to assist, or whether I am doing all that is possible?
    Thank you,
