There is no legal right that an employer has in regard to knowing whether an employee has Crohn's disease. There is also no legal requirement for a current employee to disclose a new or existing health condition unless it's stipulated in their contract of employment. A guide for employers with information on rights and how to help support employees living with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis is available from Crohn's & Colitis Australia - www.crohnsandcolitis.com.au
