Focal Dystonia is an overreaction of muscle to a stimuli. I would need to know more about how long you have have the spasms for and if they are associated with a repetitve actioin such as playing a musical instrument.

Like many problems dystonia is far easier to treat early than late. There are many helpful techniques and treatments but If you have not seen a neurologist then this may be the best course of action.
