    The severity of a cataract can vary from having virtually no distinguishable effect on vision to blindness.  Common symptoms of cataracts include blur, increased glare, loss of contrast sensitivity, dulled colour perception and occasionally monocular double vision.  Cataracts do not normally pose a health risk to your eyes and the majority of cataracts worsen only gradually.

    Not very ,unless there is complications such as high MYOPIA or shortsightedness ,trauma,or other retinal disorders present ,very safe and easily removal nowadays
