Hip bursa cortisone injection

I had my second hip bursa cortisone injection yesterday, the first one I had was very painful but the one I had yesterday was unbelievably painful while injecting. I have spoken to others that have had this procedure but none have explained extreme pain. I would like to ask if there is an explanation for this. -
