    Burning sensation on scalp

I have recently been diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease. I am a 36-year-old female. I have been experiencing scalp burning sensation since December 2008. I'm not sure if this symptom is related to my condition. The scalp burning is so intense that I cannot focus or concentrate on my work/task on hand. Over the years I have consulted dermatologists, and have had thorough blood investigations as well as a physical exam. In the last few weeks the burning sensation has gotten more severe and I'm experiencing a burning sensation in the palms of my hands too. I need help and I'm not sure who to consult. My GPs cannot seem to understand what's wrong with me.
