Sugar in Australia
Hi there,
I am currently a year 11 student at Pembroke School conducting my Research Project. I am researching the sugar consumption in Australia. As a part of collecting my research, I would like to get the views about this topic from a dietitian/nutritionist.
It would be very much appreciated if there was someone who would take the time to answer some questions I have. This information will be solely used for my Research Project only.
Here are my questions:
1. In your view has there been an increase in the sugar consumption in Australia over the last 20 years?
2. What do you think is the biggest source of sugar that Australians are consuming?
3. Have you seen the amount of health-related issues increase in Australian society including obesity, diabetes, heart problems etc.?
4. What do you think would be the biggest health issue related to sugar?
