    Infected wrist

    I hade surgery 3 weeks ago for me left wrist ganglion removal. Stitches came out 2 weeks after. The scar spilt open and is swollen, red and very painful.

    Dear Mitchell

    I guess your question is what to do now. It sounds as if you have a wound infection. I suggest you see your local GP or the treating hand surgeon as soon as possible. You may need to start antibiotics and/or special dressings to your wound.
