    What is happening to me?

    It sounds like you become very anxious when you go out in public, and perhaps you are experiencing a panic attack. Counselling can equip you with strategies for managing these better. You also mentioned the passing away of your daughter and grandson - how sad and terrible for you! Perhaps you may feel there is a benefit to making sense of your grief in response to these losses, and whether there is a connection to the anxiety you experience when going out in public. I would encourage you to make contact with a counsellor and access some support to help you make sense of things and perhaps to develop new coping skills.
