Can a wrist ligament rapture 6 montsh after operation without a fall

I had a ligament reconstruction in my left wrist 6 months ago. The recovery was going well and I even exceeded my physio's expectations. However, a few days ago, without any falls or known accidents, I started feeling pain in the wrist again. The only possible explanation is that I woke up one night with a numb arm but cannot remember if it was the left or right arm. Could this be the reason for the pain? How likely is it that my ligament is broken again? I can still move the wrist but it gives me pain most of the times I do so. This had not been the case before the last few days. What could this be? My last follow-up appointment is in 6 weeks. Given it is the Christmas holiday season, it is highly unlikely to get an earlier appointment. Could it be that I have broken the main ligament again? Any advice? Thanks in advance. Kind regards Milan
