My wife (age 53) has a venesection on a regular basis to treat her hemochromatosis condition, however after every appointment she gets heart palpitations, her blood pressure seems to increase and she gets an uncomfortable feeling in her chest around her heart. This lasts for a few days. She also has fluids directly after each venesection in order to keep her well hydrated as she did faint after one such visit. My wife did have a heart attack(Takotsuba) about 5 years ago. As no one can explain to us why she gets these symptoms after each appointment, I thought I would ask you. Any information will be much appreciated.
There is a history of heart disease in my family and I have recently started to feel very stressed at work. I sometimes feel a pain in my chest. Could this be angina?
