What happens when wisdom teeth come in during an Invisalign treatment?

I started a course of Invisalign at the same time I started university. Their treatment called for 26 trays over 52 weeks to correct slightly buck teeth with an overbite. After 4 years of failing to wear my trays consistently, and only 3 check-ups in total - I am only on tray 17/26. (Ridiculous, I know.) At this point, my wisdom teeth are erupting. How will this effect my already wonky Invisalign treatment? Should I just cut my losses and try again with braces?
