  • Q&A with Australian Health Practitioners

Should I be concerned about my low back pain, hip pain, rib pain, pelvic pain and leg pain?

Just wanting a second opinion from a neurologist, orthopaedic surgeon and acupuncturist in regards to my x-Ray results after consulting with a chiropractor and a physiotherapist due to low back pain, leg pain maybe sciatic pain, possible nerve pain, pelvic area pain, groin pain, buttocks pain burning sensation and numbness, both ribs pain maniple left and hip pain. My x-Ray results were mild rotoscoliosis lumbar spine convex to left and grade 2 (18mm), anterolisthesis of L5 on S1 due to bilateral L5 pars defects. Just wanted to know exactly what this means, I was told I may have been born this way or got this as a child and having symptoms now but I don't understand why I have them now as I have had no injury. The only thing recent was a miscarriage at 10 weeks with blighted ovum and took antibiotics but nothing else significant. Just want to know if it's wise that I have nerve testing like an EMG or a CT or MRI I'm scared the pain won't go away with chiro and physio as told was not serious.
