Inability to absorb iron - what can I do?

I have had extremely low iron levels for the past 2 years. Last year I had 10 weekly intramuscular iron injections but further testing 3 months after injections showed no iron had been absorbed. I saw a haematologist who was not concerned. I am sick of being exhausted constantly. Please help me. -
