My nearly 5 month old (7 months corrected) daughter has always had feeding problems and projectile vomits at least 2 of her 5 formula feeds a day. She has a nasal gastric tube because she refuses to bottle feed. She is attending a feeding clinic but can't get in for another 3 weeks. The doctors seem to think her feeding issue is reflux and/or an oral aversion.
My question is: does anything else besides thickener help to decrease the chance of vomiting? Does Omeprazole just decrease the pain and damage can ed by vomiting?
