After a successful 9 week chemo session for stage 4 ovarian cancer, there are 3 hotspots of abnormal tissue remaining - near the appendix, spleen and porta vein. It is hoped these can be removed during hysterectomy surgery - but the current Gynaecologist is hesitant, particularly with the one near the liver. I'm looking for a more confident Gynaecologist / Oncologist. I have the latest PET scan.
