My 4 year old had single measles and single rubella vaccines and boosters overseas, but not a mumps vaccine. Now my doctor is saying that she needs to have the MMR vaccine and a booster to protect her from mumps. My question is whether it is safe to give my daughter additional measles and rubella vaccines in the MMR when she has already been fully vaccinated against these?
