    Can someone please recommend a good surgeon in Brisbane for uterine fibroids laparoscopic Myomectomy?

    Hello, my partner has uterine fibroids, 2 large ones, one on the posterior of the uterus about 8 cms and the other on the right side of the uterus about 7 cms. They affect her bowel and bladder function. She is keen to undergo laparoscopic myomectomy to speed up recovery and avoid laparotomy as far as possible. Is this possible? If yes, please recommend laparoscopic surgeons who can perform this.

    I had my laparoscopic myomectomy with Dr Joseph Jabbour when he was working in Adelaide as a trainee. He now works in Brissie. I had a 5 cm anterior fibroid and he mentioned he doesn't do the surgery for any bigger ones.. I emailed him to ask who he would recommend for big ones and he said Dr Michael Wynn Williams at Eve Health would be a good recommendation. You need private health insurance and he charges expensive gaps, but this is because Dr Joseph reckons he is one of the best at what he does.
