Following appropriate discussion, examination, and three dimensional scans, the implant/s are placed. About ten days later the sutures are removed. Three months later there is a final clinical check and x-ray, and then work can start on the tooth part of the implant reconstruction. This is all variable depending upon exactly how many implants you are having, where they are, how many teeth are missing and what the final reconstructive plan is. There are differences between a single tooth replacement, bridgework, or whether we are supporting a denture on implants, etc. The possible permutations and combinations would all have been discussed, and quoted for, during the initial diagnostic phase, before actual treatment starts.
