The surgical placement usually takes about 40 minutes or so. However, some diagnostic work is done before that. We have to examine the patient and arrange for special three dimensional scans to be taken. Only then can we decide if an implant can be done at all. About ten days after the implant is placed we take out the stitches. About three months later the crown can be fitted to the implant.
