    Is cervical cancer at all related to unprotected sex?

    Yes. Cervical cancer is very strongly associated with unprotected intercourse. The common forms of cervical cancer are directly related to the human papilloma virus (HPV) which is sexually transmitted. Of course exposure to the virus does not necessarily mean one will get cervical cancer, but there is a direct link between the virus and the disease. In order to protect yourself regular pap smears are indicated.
